Dry Dock selected for Inclusion in ASMA National Exhibition
DRY DOCK, a watercolor by ASMA signature member Bob Perkowski, has been selected in the 15th Annual ASMA National Exhibition. From over 450 works submitted, 86 paintings and 7 three-dimensional pieces were selected. The exhibition which kicks off October 27,2011 at the Cornell Museum of Art in Delray Beach, Florida, will travel to eight museums across the country. -
“Castaway” finds fitting accommodations at THE GALLERY
At THE GALLERY, Sculptor Robert G. Breur found the perfect place to display his sculpture “Castaway,” which was carved from a piece of African iroko wood left over from building the Amistad replica. Black & White with a Dash of Color
Opening January 6, 2012, 5-8pm; runs through February 25, 2012: Black & White with a Dash of Color. A diverse group of images supports our traditional view on local scenes, landscapes and the figure. Artist Fran Morey’s prints depict the golden age of classic yacht racing in the early 1900s. Elaine Herman, George Grabel, Roger Beers, Karla M. Tate and Susan Jaworski-Stranc will present linoleum cuts, intaglio, etchings, graphite/pencil drawings & more. Read more »

MEET & GREET Reception for Black & White with a Dash of Color: February 3rd: 5pm-7pm. Where visitors are able to meet the artists, comment on their work and ask questions, as well as learn about the artists’ inspiration, subject matter and processes.
